Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Wordpress Frontend Developer, who wouldn’t mind working in a special setup – we are a digital agency in Riga called Virtus and are looking for colleagues for our sister company in Denmark called NoMilk. NoMilk are 6 guys who are making websites, web shops as well as working on your conversion and speed optimization. They are eager for new colleagues in Riga, so if this and what you read further below sounds interesting – do not hesitate to send in your application.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for handling and taking care of front-end work, which ranges from minor extensions to larger tasks on fully developed webshops and websites. In addition, you will be assigned entire projects where you must convert finished designs from Figma to WordPress. An important part of your work will also be to estimate the tasks accurately. You will continuously converse internally and with the customer, so that we achieve the optimal result.
Who are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
- Solid experience with Bootstrap and/or Tailwind.
- Experience as a WordPress developer.
- Experience with development via Gutenberg or Advanced Custom Fields/flexible content.
- Proficient in Vanilla JavaScript or jQuery.
- Competences in speed optimization.
- Knowledge of setting up and developing webshops via WooCommerce as well as WooCommerce-specific functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and in direct contact with customers.
- Experience using GitHub.
- Possible knowledge of Figma, experience with CloudFlare, setting up DNS records and tracking.
