Senior Data Engineer

Our department is responsible for:

• collecting data from operational banking systems and loading to BI and Analytical Platforms;
• data delivery to Financial Services Authorities and 3rd parties’ systems;
• data structure designing and data pipeline development, providing self-service reporting capabilities to business users.

Your daily routines will be:

• Design, implement and improve data integration, transformation and calculation processes in the bank's Data Lake and Data Warehouse platforms according to industry standards and ensuring high levels of quality, security and performance.
• Design and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Assist and guide business stakeholders in Data, Data Platform and BI tools related challenges.
• Share the knowledge on best practices and create guidelines for the Data Warehouse design and Data Pipelines development.
• Get expertise in variety of bank's business processes and products.
• Be part of a cross functional Agile development team.
• Work in international environment.

Skills and experience:

• Database development experience and knowledge, advanced SQL, T-SQL or PL/SQL skills.
• 5+ years experience as Data Engineer or DWH Developer role.
• Experience and understanding on Software Delivery methodologies.
• Deep understanding about Data Warehouse types.
• Experience or knowledge in DataOps and No-SQL databases will be considered as an advantage.
• Previous experience from Banking or Financial Institutions.
• Advanced English language skills and preferably knowledge of one of the Baltic languages.
• Bachelor of science (technology, engineering and mathematics).

• A salary range for this position is 2650-4000 EUR (Gross), which is to be determined depending on the level of experience and competencies of the selected candidate.
