Purchasing & Transport Coordination agent

Travel agency Baltic Travel Group is hiring Purchasing & Transport Coordination agent to join our team.

WE WILL TRUST YOU TO:

PURCHASING

• Manage all BTG InBound department supplier purchasing for the Baltic & Scandinavia region, developing and maintaining healthy relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate rates for global purchasing purposes.
• Ensure quality control of contracted services.
• Participation and guidance of conflict situations with suppliers.
• Manage statistics of suppliers.
• Enter and update the relevant products and services in the catalog.
• Search new suppliers within hotels, restaurants, museums, guides, transport companies etc.
• Prepare and negotiate contract terms and conditions for agreements.

TRANSPORT COORDINATION

• Coordinate ground transport reservations and logistic processes for Inbound department.
• Ensure onsite support for all booked ground transport services.
• Overview of planned transport bookings during the season.
• Find and ensure the best ground transportation rates and conditions for each project, as well asconstantly be informed about the industry news and trends.

• Education in a relevant field (tourism, logistics, etc.).
• Working experience in similar field in Latvia.
• Minimum two years’ contract negotiation experience.
• Strategic thinking and planning.
• Accuracy, sense of responsibility and ability to react quickly.
• Ability to work both independently and with a team.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Fluent Latvian and English languages to communicate within the Baltic & Scandinavian markets.
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications. 

• Monthly gross salary starting from 1300 EUR depending on previous experience and skills.
• Health insurance after trial period.
