Job Description

Organize entertainment, put together shows, perform, attend other cruise performances.
Oversee the development of entertainment programs and ensure that all aspects of cruise ship entertainment (including lectures) go smoothly.
Ensure lighting, sound and any technical aspects are ready for the ship’s performances.
Entertainment Host is expected to be proactive and creative in relation to programming to maintain and/or increase guest satisfaction scores.
Must effectively practice proper time management to prepare, execute and break down set ups and venues for assigned activities and events.
Create lively and professional dance experiences, fostering socialization and promoting cross cultural communication.
Create unforgettable experiences for our guests through activities and themed parties celebrating worldwide musical styles.

Person must be fluent in English and Italian language skills considered as advantage.
You are an enthusiastic, flexible and dynamic person, at ease with public speaking.
Previous experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment, or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred).
You have at least one year’s experience in ballroom dancing as dance instructor or as a professional dancer.
You have a good knowledge of the following dancing styles: Valzer, Tango, Mazurka, Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue.
Excellent communication, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
